It gives me immense pride to see how Arden Progressive School, Lamachaur has grown into a place where children are encouraged to become confident, responsible, and well-rounded individuals, ready to face the challenges of the world.

Over the past nine years, APS, Lamachaur has established itself as a respected institution, known for providing quality and value-based education. Today, more than 22000 students are pursuing their education under the guidance and care of over 104 qualified faculty members.

It has been a privilege for me to be bestowed with the noble opportunity to serve and give something back to the society as a medical practitioner. But I think I have been a little more privileged as I have one more role to play that is of a teacher. I have been teaching the young medical aspirants who are eager to go out and do what we doctors do  –  save lives.  But I have always maintained that doctors treat the patients and save lives while teachers educate the students and shape lives. With these thoughts, Arden Progressive School, our school, came into existence.

There was an exigency for a good English medium, Co-ed school in the region as commercialization had overpowered the education sector and people had scarcity of choices. Arden has come up as an apt alternative for the localities.At Arden, we try to create an environment for the students where they are made ready to go out and face the challenges of the modern fast growing world and develop them into inspirational leaders for future.

The school focuses on customized attention on every child apart from the top tier infrastructural facilities. We tend to bring out the best in each child by stimulating creative curiosity and visionary thinking in them. The school forms a professional work environment for the teachers, at the same time, they treat children like their own and thus develop a special bond with their students.

It is only because of the support we have gained through our parents, teachers and the entire Arden family because of which the school has reached to the epitome of glory and has got the name which has become a synonym for reliability. I would like to thank each and every individual who has been a part of this wonderful journey and I hope that the school shall continue to prosper and bring about the change for which this school came into existence.

विद्यालय में  उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था के साथ-साथ  ही वृक्षारोपण ,पर्यावरण संरक्षण,स्वच्छता,स्वस्थता, सामाजिक चेतना, कल्याणकारी कार्य  व  जागरूकता अभियान आदि का क्रियान्वयन करते हुए , नौनिहालों को सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से पूर्ण कर नव युग  निर्माण में सहायक सिद्ध करना भी  विद्यालय  स्थापना के उद्देश्य के अंर्तगत निहित  है।

विद्यालय अपने इन्ही आदर्शों का  पालन करता जा रहा है और सदैव पालन करने हेतु दृढ़  प्रतिज्ञ है।

It has been an honour to have been associated with Arden Progressive School, Haldwani, Lamachaur (Earlier DPS H, Lamachaur) as a mentor since its very inception in the year 2015. It has been heartening to see the school grow right in front of my eyes and scaling new heights every year. In a short span of five years, the strength has gone up to 1700 plus students. This all has been achieved due to the sheer hard work put in by our dedicated Teachers, Non-teaching Staff as well as the cooperation extended by our parents. CBSE class X Board results of our first two batches speak volumes about the success story of our students, who rose to the occasion and brought laurels to the school. It was a moment of great pride for all of us to see an unbelievable 35% and above students securing more the 90 % marks in the first year itself. This year, our first batch of Class XII (Class of 2020-21) will be appearing for the AISSCE and I am absolutely convinced that the batch along with the new class X batch will rewrite new success stories. I sincerely wish that the Arden Progressive School will grow from strength to strength and set new milestones in future as well.

Education in the present scenario has various meanings attached to it.

1. In my opinion, the word educate is to empower the minds of children, people who are undergoing this process to add a customised value to their real life existence. This value can be accessed in various modes i.e. materialistic wealth, spiritual well-being, creative and imaginative approach and the satisfaction incurred out of it by an individual, societal recognition and many more ways. Well, it is the culture, surrounding, environment and educational upbringing which enlightens one to choose from the above forms as per his/her interests and likings.

The formation of Arden Progressive School is laid down on the parameters that every child is paid customized attention so that individually the child can be nurtured in the best possible manner for a holistic qualitative development imbibing a strong deep rooted value system as well as practical knowledge in the child to deal with the current scenarios of the world.

2. Education is an optimistically driven outcome of constructive minds. Today education should not only be limited to imparting knowledge because then, only teaching takes place without learning whereas learning is the real form of education. Child centric education involving parents – teachers – mentors and school together hand in hand, is one of the utmost necessary tool of present day world to bloom the child into a lovely flower.

At Arden, we focus on creating an environment where teachers are empowered to deliver in their best possible manners with the talent of academic as well as life skills to shape human and ethical personalities and orient them in the best possible manner for their life. They are made ready to meet different challenges of life and develop leadership and a strong sense of creativity to make a difference amongst the others.

3. If we need to create a world of empathy, love, kindness then we need to allow children to imagine, dream and creatively think in their own individually customised manner as per their age as all children are born talented but as we grow old, we tend to forget things by our own imposed system. A balance between this is must in order to understand the true essence of getting educated.

The School is set to develop a strong sense of ethical and moral values on humanitarian grounds to understand the feelings and have empathy with the social masses as well as to develop real life virtues in all students.

We also focus on cultivating in them the love and respect for their ethnic and cultural values. But at the same time, they are made swift enough to run at par with the pace of fast moving world. Our aim is to make the child a global citizen but keeping intact the feeling of nation first.

Every child is unique and genius, we at Arden Progressive School motivate and appreciate the uniqueness in every child. We aim to nurture students and recognise the importance of pre-school education for the holistic development of our toddlers.
  It is an exciting place where our toddlers are groomed from a very early age to foster love and respect for multiplicity that prepares our children for the challenges of the 21st century,pre-school years are the most important years for a child’s life. Children reach milestones that impact their future learning.
